Market Update: May 2023 Update from WECAR


As we enter the warm summer months, the Windsor real estate market is expected to continue to see increased activity. Buyers remain active in looking for houses for sale in Windsor. The month-to-month trends locally continue to illustrate market gains, the performance versus last year is still not matched, however May stats show a less significant drop. 


WECAR is reporting that May of 2023 saw a 6.4% decrease in average sale price versus May of 2022. The average sales price this May was $602,591 versus the average sale price of $643,818 during the same time a year ago. Home sales saw a 10.9% decrease this May compared to May of 2022, 546 homes sold this May compared to 613 homes sold last May. The largest decline was seen in the number of listings with a 24.9% decrease, 1094 homes listed May of 2023 vs 1457 homes listed May 2022.
