Let Them Ride With You
- When you are fully packed and it’s time to make the move to your new home, bring your pet along in the car with you, this can help them feel more comfortable as they move to a new environment knowing they are safe with you.

- If possible, set up as much of the new home as possible before bringing your pet in. If you can only do a small amount, keep your pet secluded in a calm area of the house with things they recognize, like toys or a bed. Remember they may be uneasy for some time after the move as they adjust to their new environment, just keep them comfortable and provide as much regularity as possible.
