Benjamin Moore: 2023 Colour of the Year Announced

No you are not having deja vu. We covered the Pantone 2023 Colour of the Year just recently and today we decided to bring you another colour of the year. This time it is from paint maker Benjamin Moore.

The colour of the year, from any company, has a similar goal in mind. It is about how that colour will drive trends for the upcoming year. While we know the Pantone colour has an impact in a wide variety of industries, Benjamin Moore has a focus on the home industry and interior design. When a buyer is looking for houses in Windsor, in doing their searches, one thing they’ll factor heavily is whether or not they can see themselves living there. Colour has a lot to do with that. Without further ado, the Benjamin Moore 2023 Colour of the Year is, Raspberry Blush 2008-30. They describe the colour as

“A vivacious shade of coral tinged with pink, Raspberry Blush enlivens the senses with an electric optimism. Never a backdrop, Raspberry Blush is the definition of charismatic color (sic). This unapologetic shade of red orange had us thinking: bold, bolder, boldest. So where does this colour go in a home? Well they suggest dressing up a dining room with neutral accents mixed in. If you’re not into colourful rooms, this shade also makes a perfect accent wall colour to add just a pop to a white or neutral toned room.

The similarities between the Benjamin Moore and Pantone Colours of the Year are obvious and 2023 is about bringing pops of colour and vibrance to design.
