A Windsor holiday favourite activity is making it's return this winter, as the City of Windsor has announced the Bright Lights Windsor dates for 2023.
Thousands of lights and displays will once again light up Jackson Park (125 Tecumseh Road East) this holiday season. This year it runs nightly 5:30pm to 10:00pm from December 1st, 2023 until January 7th, 2024. The event kicks-off on the December 1st at 6:30pm with the tree lighting and opening ceremonies.
The WE Made It: Holiday Market returns this year with a new feature. This year, the market area for local makers will be complemented by seating area where you can enjoy a sip or a bite from local food and drink vendors. The full holiday market will be open Fridays and Saturdays, with a partial market for food and beverages operating during the week.
The city says yes! Dogs are allowed into Bright Lights and regular park rules apply (e.g. dog must be on a leash; please clean up messes, etc.). They do recommend a little extra caution due the heavy traffic, lively displays and noise, that can be stressful for some dogs. They also remind you that some individuals may be intimated by dogs so please be weary of those around you.
