If you head East from Windsor down E.C. Row Expressway you will find yourself in the Town of Tecumseh. Tecumseh's mix of having the amenities of a big city but maintaining a strong, small community, environment, has led more and more people to look for homes for sale in Tecumseh.
The towns boundary to the south is County Road 8, but the heart of the town is located north of E.C. Row Expressway with Lesperance Road being the first main road. This intersection is mostly residential but does have some amenities like Home Hardware and a local favourite Slinky’s. As Lesperance crosses Tecumseh Road East, you can find some other local favourite spots Frank Brewing Co. and Johnny Shotz. It is also home to Town of Tecumseh town hall, fire station, and OPP Station. Just off of Lesperance on McNorton is Tecumseh Arena, a two pad facility and the home of Tecumseh Minor Hockey. The next light down E.C. Row Expressway is Manning Road and is much more commercial. The St. Clair Shores Shopping Centre is where you can shop at Sobeys, LCBO, Macro Foods, RARE Butcher, other local businesses. Located behind this plaza down Amy Croft is a Starbucks, an Indigo, and Imagine Cinemas. Along Manning Road are two more local favourite restaurants, Fratelli Pasta and Wineology. Windsor pizza fans are covered even in Tecumseh with Antoninos on Manning Road. Manning Road is leads to amenities like Shoppers Drug Mart, Goodlife Fitness, and Estetica Day Spa all located just off this main street.
If you are enjoy the outdoors Tecumseh is for you. Some of the Riverside Drive Ganatchio Trail extends into Tecumseh allowing you to walking, running, cycling, or rollerblading along the water. McAuliffe Park and McAuliffe Woods Conservation Area provide access to tennis courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, green space, a large jungle gym, and even more paths and trails to walk, hike, run, bike, or walking the dog. Lacasse Park is one of the biggest outdoor spaces in Tecumseh. The Tecumseh Thunder Baseball Club calls the diamond there home. It is also where the Town of Tecumseh Pool and splash pads are located. The park features tons of green space for activities like having a picnic, walking, playing catch, or just about anything else, it is amazing community area. Lacasse Park is also home to the popular annual Tecumseh Corn Fest. The former Lakewood Golf Course is now Lakewood Park South. Here you will find an 18-hold disk-golf course, many paved and stone paths, various outdoor exercise equipment, a rock climbing boulder, and more of green space. Just across the street is Lakewood Beach. A waterfront green space and beach area to relax and spend summer days. For the golf fan, Tecumseh is home to members only Beach Grove Golf and Country Club. On The Green offers virtual golf bays, full bar, along with two 18-hold mini-putt courses and summer time beach volleyball leagues. Finally, you can get on the water at Urban Surf Co. They offer paddle boarding rentals and classes, kayak rentals, and other events throughout the summer time.

The Town of Tecumseh is also home to elementary and secondary schools from both the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board and the Greater Essex County District School Board along with the private school Lakeview Montessori school.
