The Town of Kingsville has decided to freshen up their open air weekends this summer. The town has introduced what they are calling Kingsville Block Parties and here is what Mayor Dennis Rogers said about this new format. "We've reimagined Open Streets, moving the footprint off the main stretch but still giving residents and visitors a fun opportunity to come together and enjoy the weekend." (Town of Kingsville, 2024)
In years past, Kingsville hosted Open Air Weekends similar to those in Amherstburg. This year they have changed things up as Mayor Rogers explained. Kingsville Block Parties run from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm on the third Saturday of every month this summer. They will kick things off first in Cottam on County Road 34 between Belle River Road and Hill Street before hosting the remaining Block Parties in Kingsville at the intersection of King Street and Chestnut Street.
Each Block Party will have its own unique theme and will feature live music, activities for kids, outdoor food vendors, and merchandise vendors. Here is the schedule for this summers Kingsville Block Parties
